Why try the fruit cutting effect

  • The trend, without the setup

No knife, no props and no editing. The slicing motion and the fruit inside are built into the effect.

  • Ready for short video apps

You get a 5-second 720p MP4 that keeps the shape of your photo. A vertical photo gives a vertical video for Reels, Shorts and TikTok.

  • Credits back if it fails

If a video fails, is refused by the content check or takes too long, the credits are refunded automatically.

What makes a good photo for fruit cutting

Choose one solid object that looks like it could be cut: a sneaker, a handbag, a candle, a coffee cup, a toy car or a piece of furniture. Objects photographed on a table or cutting board look the most convincing, because the scene already looks like a kitchen video.

Keep the object large in the frame and well lit, with a plain background. Small objects in a busy scene, or photos with several things in them, make it harder for the AI to know what to slice. Leave people and pets out of the photo; the effect is made for objects.

What to expect from the video

A knife comes into the frame and cuts through your object. As the halves come apart, the inside turns out to be fresh, juicy fruit. The kind of fruit and the way it’s cut can change from one video to the next, so if the first try isn’t quite right, generate again.

The video is five seconds long, 720p and silent. Add a crunchy sound effect or music in your editing app to make it feel like the real thing. Videos made with free credits carry a small AI watermark in the corner; videos made with paid credits have none.
