Acceptable use policy
Last updated:
This policy explains what you can and can’t do with VivClip’s AI video generation. It is part of our Terms of service. The rules protect the people in your photos, other users and us. Every photo and prompt is checked automatically before a video is made.
Use photos you have the right to use
Only upload a photo if you own it or have permission to use it, and if everyone who appears in it has agreed to be in an AI video. If you are not sure, don’t upload it.
Who can’t appear in photos
Don’t upload photos that show:
- anyone under 18, even with a parent’s permission;
- celebrities, politicians or other public figures;
- anyone who hasn’t agreed to it.
Content that isn’t allowed
Don’t upload, prompt for or create:
- nudity or sexual content of any kind;
- videos that make someone appear to say or do something they didn’t, in order to deceive, harass or defame them or others (deceptive deepfakes), or that impersonate a real person;
- violence, gore or content that promotes self-harm;
- hate speech, or content that attacks people for who they are;
- harassment, bullying or threats;
- anything illegal, or content that promotes illegal activity;
- content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights.
Using the Service fairly
Don’t:
- try to get around our content checks, for example by editing photos or rewording prompts to slip past them;
- use bots, scripts or other automated or bulk methods to generate videos;
- resell or share access to VivClip or your account;
- create more than one account, or use other tricks, to get extra free credits;
- remove the AI label or watermark to present a video as real.
What happens if the rules are broken
Depending on how serious it is, we may:
- refuse the request (when our content checks refuse a request, its credits are returned);
- delete the photo, prompt or video;
- suspend or permanently ban the account.
Bans and illegal content
Where the law allows, we do not refund credits or plans of accounts banned for breaking these rules.
We report illegal content to the relevant authorities, and we always report child sexual abuse material.
Report a problem
If you see content made with VivClip that breaks these rules, or you appear in a video without your consent, email support@vivclip.com with a link or description. For copyright claims, see our Copyright (DMCA) page.
