These terms apply to your use of vivclip.com and its free video tools (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service
VivClip provides free tools that compress and convert video, audio and GIF files. The tools run in your browser and process files on your own device. We may add, change or remove features at any time.
Your files and your responsibility
You keep all rights to the files you process. Because files are processed on your device, we do not receive or store them. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use, edit and share any file you process.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- process content you do not have the right to use, or infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark or privacy;
- create or share illegal, abusive or sexually exploitative content, including any content involving minors;
- interfere with the site, attempt to access it in unauthorized ways, or overload it with automated requests.
No downloading from other platforms
The Service only works with files that are already on your device. It does not download videos from YouTube, TikTok or any other platform, and you must not use it to get around another service’s terms.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee that it will always work, be error-free or support every file or device. Processing speed and limits depend on your device and browser.
Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Keep a copy of your original files: we are not responsible for lost or damaged files or for the quality of the results.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, VivClip is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or files, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded by contract.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when we add accounts or paid features. We will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated terms.
