Make a photo-to-video clip on VivClip
VivClip doesn’t run Vidu. If you want to turn a photo into a short video with motion and sound, try VivClip image to video at High quality: 5 or 10 seconds, 720p or 1080p, with sound that fits the scene. The Generate button shows the cost before you start, and failed videos are refunded.

PhotoVidu Q3 and Q4: what’s new
Vidu Q3 (early 2026) makes clips up to 16 seconds with synced audio: dialogue, sound effects and music in the same pass. It outputs 540p, 720p or 1080p. Reference-to-video, where you give it images of a character or object to keep consistent, launched globally in April 2026.
Vidu Q4 Preview arrived in October 2026. It covers image to video (3 to 16 seconds) and reference-to-video, with up to 15 image and 3 audio references, and output up to 2K or 4K in 10-bit. Audio is on by default. It doesn’t do text to video yet, and there’s no date for the full release.
Vidu pricing and the free plan
The Vidu app has a free plan with watermarked videos, a 720p cap and a small monthly credit allowance. Paid plans start at about $10 a month for about 800 credits, with larger plans at about $43 and about $115 a month. You can also get credits for signing up and logging in daily. Subscription credits expire after 30 days. Prices change, so check the official site for current plans.
Vidu or VivClip?
Choose Vidu when you need what it does best: 4K output, clips up to 16 seconds or many reference images to keep a character the same across shots. Choose VivClip when you want a quick 5 or 10 second clip from one photo, in 720p or 1080p, with sound, without learning a new app. VivClip also has ready-made AI effects that need only a photo.
